I wanted to create a website that I would want to go to.

Keep things fun, light-humored. Like most humans, I'm fairly multi-faceted. I love tech and I also love fashion and makeup. I love books but I also am super into naps. There are some topics you may feel want to join for discussion, and it is of course very welcomed. I ask you to do so respectfully.  I really want to make this a space to learn and grow from my community.

Have an idea? Issue that needs to be brought to light?

About

What it is: A place to talk about issues that mean a lot to me. I work in education. And accessible technology. And I am a woman. My world gets smaller and smaller. I am passionate about a LOT of other related issues related to social policies, justice, equality, relationships, technology, systemic issues etc. I like connecting with like minded people. Brainstorm and troubleshoot ideas and create some really powerful revolutionary and innovative movements. To build genuine working relationships and friendships. It is difficult to do so given some of the current platforms. So, I wanted to make my own.

The Professional Side:

Higher education professional with seven years of experience, a concentration in disability services, student services, student success, transitional coaching, advising and enrollment management. Strong skills and passion for Assistive Tech, Alt-format/Alt-Text and accessible technology. In addition to loving tech on a whole, I like to focus on integrating technology with faculty and programs with a UDL mindset. Accessible design is good design. Embraces change in the trends and disparities of higher education with knowledge, training, collaborative team efforts and expertise to create an inclusive environment for all diverse learners and student populations. Currently work as a Disabilities Specialist at a well known university in Massachusetts. Love talking shop and collaborating!
